Abstract [en]

Thisstudy is based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Useof Technology 2 and employs a qualitative method with adeductive thematic analysis to analyze the results. Thefindings show that participants generally had a positiveattitude toward all factors. Performance Expectancy,Facilitating Conditions and Hedonic Motivation were factorsthat the participants viewed positively without exception.Effort Expectancy, Social Influence and Habit elicited mixedattitudes, with both positive and negative responses. PriceValue was the one factor where most participants expresseda negative attitude, making it the most negatively perceivedfactor overall. An important conclusion that can be drawnfrom this study is that there is interest and curiosity amongtraditional gamers when it comes to cloud gaming, althougha certain degree of skepticism is also evident.
