Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This report details the development of an optimized hydraulic manifold for additive manufacturing, aiming to reduce weight and pressure drop compared to conventional manufacturing methods. The project's purpose was to design a more efficient manifold that is lighter and has lower pressure drop. Methods included CAD modeling, CFD analysis, and FEM analysis. Results showed that the new design reduced weight by 67% and that the pressure drop also was reduced. The conclusion is that additive manufacturing enables improvements in efficiency of hydraulic manifolds.
