The goal with this project has been to deliver a report-tool to the company Angry Creative and is intended to help the company to get a better overview of it’s budget and distribution of hours within the HR-department. At present, some information is completely missing and the information available need to be retrieved and calculated manually each time you need it, which is both cumbersome and inefficient. Instead, a tool has now been developed that shows both the consumption of the department’s budget and the distribution of internal activities belonging to the department, such as staff mettings and employee interviews. The project is developed with Wordpress as a basis and where the user interface makes it possible for the user to easily enter data for the budget they want information about and then get calculations made based on it. All calculations and retrieval of data have been done with JavaScript and then presented on one and the same page together with dynamic diagrams to even more clearly visualize the result. The final product is a prototype of a tool that the company later has the oppurtunity to futher develop and will be able to facilitate the work with the budget and planning in the HR-department. The chosen method for the product may not have been the most effective, even though it has been very educational and challenging, but the end result contains all the required parts and works as intended, which meets the projects goals.

Målet med det här projektet har varit att ta fram ett rapportverktyg till företaget Angry Creative och är tänkt att hjälpa företaget att få en bättre översikt över sin budget och fördelning av timmar inom HR-avdelningen. I nuläget saknas viss information helt och den information som finns att tillgå behöver hämtas in och beräknas manuellt varje gång man behöver den vilket är både krångligt och ineffektivt. Istället har nu ett verktyg tagits fram som både visar åtgången av avdelningens budget samt fördelningen av interna aktiviteter tillhörande avdelningen så som personalmöten och medarbetarsamtal. Projektet är utvecklat med Wordpress som grund och där användargränssnittet gör det möjligt för användaren att enkelt lägga in uppgifter för den budget man vill ha information om och sedan få beräkningar gjorda utifrån den. All beräkning och inhämtning av data har gjorts med JavaScript och presenteras sedan på en och samma sida tillsammans med dynamiska diagram för att ännu tydligare visualisera resultatet. Slutprodukten är en prototyp av ett verktyg som företaget senare har möjlighet att vidareutveckla och kommer att kunna underlätta arbetet med budget och planering på HR-avdelningen. Den valda metoden för projektet har kanske inte varit den mest effektiva, även om det har varit väldigt lärorikt och utmanande, men slutresultatet innehåller samtliga efterfrågade delar och fungerar som det är tänkt vilket uppfyller de mål som sattes för projektet.
