    Abstract [en]

Ethnicity is a conspicious and controversial concept. In the present series of papers read at a Nordic workshop in June 1997 the concept of ethnicity is discussed in contexts ranging from Viking Age trade in Russia to the Late Mesolithic Finnish Comb Ceramic culture. There seems to be a tendency among the authors to avoid the term "ethnicity", instead favouring terms like "identity" and the old-fashioned "Culture".

Humanister föreläser om Wales, Irland och Jämtland1998Collection (editor) (Other academic)
    Abstract [sv]

Perry Ahlgren: Ordspråk i Jämtland. Jöns Danielssons ordspråkssamling

David Bell: Mine Welshness. Symbols and regional identity

Mikael Eivergård: Platsen och folket. Jämten som ideal och kulturell konstruktion
