Abstract [en]

Objective To improve paper properties for sack paper such as high strength to failure and tensile energy absorption at low air resistance. Experimental The conventional HC refining is compared to pressurized HC refining regarding how the final paper properties are affected. After HC refining the pulp have also been beaten in a LC refining stage in a laboratory EscherWyss refiner.
