Abstract [sv]

I detta arbete utvecklas ett nytt montagesystem för RRU (Remote Radio Unit) inom telekommunikationen för montage på kabelstegar av olika bredder. Fästet som framställts har en hållfasthet som klarar kraven som ställs och stödjer radioapparaterna som används, oavsett stegbredd. Därmed har ett montagesystem som är mer tillförlitligt utvecklats och fler alternativ av basstationsuppbyggnad har möjliggjorts. Konstruktionen använder sig av en infästning som inte genererar skador på kabelstegar och dess strukturella integritet bevaras därav. Montagesystemet som utvecklats har vissa fördelar den befintliga lösningen saknar, men även vissa nackdelar där den befintliga lösningen är bättre. Det finns potential för vidare studier och utveckling med den nya lösningen och om dessa genomförs kan det nya montagesystemet ersätta den befintliga produkten.

Abstract [en]

In this project, a new mounting system for RRU (Remote Radio Unit) in telecommunications is developed for mounting on cable ladders of varying widths. The mount that has been developed has a strength that meets the established requirements and support the radios in use, regardless of the ladder width. Therefore, a mounting solution that is more reliable have been developed and more alternatives of designing a base station have been made possible. The design implements an attachment that does not generate damages on cable ladders and their structural integrity is therefore preserved. The developed mounting solution has some advantages that the existing solution is missing, but also some disadvantages where the existing solution is better. There is potential for further studies and development with the new solution and if these are carried out, the new mounting system could replace the existing product.
