Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The project ”The future of authentication methods ” was chosen because i believe that the methods we use today can sometimes be unnecessary complicated. In this thesis we will learn about the methods that exists today for authentication and also about methods that might be used in the near future. This thesis will also take a deeper look on the biometric authentication method called keyboard dynamics. A software for keyboard dynamics has been evaluated, two users has created their own logins with the same password, their objective has been to try to login to the other users account. A survey has been made to find out about how people feel regarding more complex authentication methods and whether or not they would appreciate a more simple solution.
