Abstract [en]
Internet of Things is built based on smart devices whose reliability is extremely variable. The present work proposes a set of solutions to the challenges of communication, connection management, memory, exceptions, synchronization and data persistence for the development of hardware devices that are part of the distributed systems over the Internet (IoT) and need to communicate with other components of the system. The paper describes the hardware used in the proposal, as well as the algorithms that make the device robust. In the end, the results obtained in real applications such as data persistence during communication outage and EEPROM/FLASH lifespan extension are shown.
