Abstract [en]

This essay examines the development of identity politics based on Vänsterpartiet's election manifesto from 2006-2018. This essay analyze the development of identity politics from two different theoretical perspectives; discursive institutionalism and Nancy Fraser's model of social justice which is a two-dimensional model, with recognition and distribution as two main perspectives. The method used to analyze this essay is a qualitative method, through of analysis of ideas. The study showed that the development of identity politics was neither dimished nor increased, instead it was evenly distributed in the examined election manifesto.
