The thesis of this study was to examine how the municipal Sundsvall in Sweden is working with outdoor life to make it inclusive regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or disability's. The thesis was also to investigate what norms and values that Sundsvall assumes it's inhabitants have. We used a case study where we combine interviews, document analysis and observations. We interviewed two employees of Sundsvall municipality, the documents we analyzed was documents from Sundsvall municipal and the grounds that we observed was two common places for outdoor life.

We found that children, the elderly and people with disabilities got the biggest investments, and women and people who have immigrated got the least investment due to the budget. But there is plans to do investment for both women and people who have immigrated for the future.
