Abstract [en]

To a lot of people, a festival’s the summers big event. Something you wait and prepare for months in advance. Before a festival a lot of tents are bought, often very cheap tents. After the festival most of the tents are left at the festival site for the volunteers to pick up and throw away. A tent is a mixt waste stream containing several materials and are to labour intense to separate so, in most cases, they to go to landfills, in the end risking polluting the groundwater. The solution of the problem will help to keep enjoying festivals, not leaving tents behind. The project is divided into three phases; Analysis phase, Creative phase and Presentation phase. During the analysis phase different methods will be applied to understand and define the needs and the problems of the existing situation as well as defining a preferred situation. In the creative phase different creative methods will be used to generate ideas, evaluate and modify different solutions. During the presentations phase a physical model and report will be created. As well as a digital presentation of the project.
