Abstract [sv]

Problemet som den här uppsatsen undersöker är att det finns många varumärken som har liknande erbjudanden till konsumenter, vilket gör det intressant att studera hur varumärken differentierar sig gentemot varandra och hur konsumenterna uppfattar varumärkenas visuella kommunikation utifrån konsumenternas konsumtionsvanor. Samtidigt finns det i dag många företag som försöker kommunicera sina etiska ståndpunkter via förpackningsdesignen. Därigenom är uppsatsens syfte att studera hur nationellt utbredda varumärken kommunicerar visuellt på lokal nivå till konsumenter.
