This is a quantitative study about educational level and the impact of residential areas on the individual's choice of placement on the left right scale. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is any correlation between the type of education level people have and placement on the left right scale, as well as which area people live in and placement on the left right scale. The theory used för this study is a collective of 4 sources, including previous research on the topic of educational level, residential areas and how people vote. The method used for this investigation is a bivariate regression and multivariate regressionsanalyse. In the analysis there will be added a control variable in the form of total annual income in the household. The result of the regressionsanalyse is that there is a form of connection between the type of educational level and placement on the left right scale. Unluckily enough, the variable "which area people live in" does not show any type of correlation with placement on the left right scale.
