Title [sv]
Nätverket för forskning om literacy practices
Title [en]
The network for research on literacy practices
Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this application is to establish a national network for research and postgraduate (research) studies on the theme Literary Practices. The network is intended to be a continuous meeting place for knowledge exchange relating to research results, theory development and methodology. The researchers/groups to be included in the network are those with responsibility for or involved in major research initiatives ‚Äì research schools, large research projects, institutes and international research collaborations ‚Äì with an emphasis on literacy. In recent years such research initiatives have assumed different thematic emphases, for example, digital literacy, education for sustainable development and young people’s literary practices. This national network is intended as an arena for research collaborations on the themes/research initiatives mentioned above and will include both senior and junior researchers. Directors and project managers of prominent international research environments will also be invited to take part in network meetings. The network will organise two meetings per year. Each symposium will be 2-3 days in length. The seminars will vary in content: presentations, data sessions and workshops. It is estimated that the network will include some 30 participants representing at least 8 universities/colleges specialising in teacher-training and educational research.
